About Amato Store
Amato Store is named after two ideas we love. In Japanese, 甘党 (あまとう / amatō) means someone with a sweet tooth, a lover of sweetness (甘 = sweet, 党 = type/group of person). In Italian, Amato means beloved, cherished.
Together, that is our concept: art as a form of affection. Like sweetness, a work can be subtle, direct, comforting, or surprising, but always personal.
Inspired by the poetic spirit of The Solitary Gourmet, we value quiet attention, everyday ritual, and the intimate moment between viewer and image.
Each print is chosen with that same principle: made to be loved, lived with, and rediscovered over time.
